THE PRIZE
There will be one prize per month of £1000. Prizes will be notified and processed by the administrator of the draw.
HOW TO ENTER
There will be a series of distinct and separate contests each lasting one (1) month.
Entries will be accepted beginning 2nd March 2009 12:00:01 a.m. GMT on the www.whitbreadcares.co.uk website (the "Client Contest Website") or on the telephone at 0800 258 5940 (the "Client Telephone Line")
Each subsequent monthly contest will use the Client Contest Website and the Client Telephone Line. The Promoter in its sole discretion shall determine the number of contests to be held. Respondents will only be included in the draw for the month during which their response was received.
No purchase is required. To enter, you must be invited to complete a survey by a representative of the Promoter by being given a survey response card at a participating location, by receiving an invitation on a cash register receipt at a participating location or by receiving an electronic or email-based invitation (together the "Invitation"), and complete the survey on the Client Contest Website or on the Client Telephone Line. To complete the survey at the Client Contest Website, enter the certificate number found on the Invitation. Complete the survey within the designated selection fields marked within the on-line contest form. All areas marked with an asterisk ("*") must be filled out prior to submitting your form. A maximum of one (1) survey completion per Invitation is allowed. Each survey completed on the Client Contest Website will receive ten (10) entries to the draw and each survey completed on Client Telephone Line will receive one (1) entry to the draw. All surveys and information become the copyright and property of the Promoter and will not be returned. The Promoter for customer mapping purposes will use postcodes. For on-line entries, in the event of a dispute, the entrant will be the person in whose name the e-mail account is held.

Limit one (1) entry per mail-in request. Each mail-in entry must be completed by hand and not duplicated. Mail-in entries will be included in the monthly draw for the month in which they are received. Each mail-in entry shall receive ten (10) entries to the draw.
For purposes of the contest draw, each person, household, group or organization is limited to two (2) survey completions or mail-in requests per month. Respondents leaving a common telephone contact number will be considered, for purposes of the contest draw, to belong to the same household, group or organization and therefore are subject to the above restriction. Any excess survey completions or mail-in requests will be deleted for purposes of the draws. Mail-in entries will be included in the monthly draw for the month in which they are received.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible, you must be over 18 years of age and be a resident of the United Kingdom from the Contest Starting Date to the date of the draw. You are not eligible if, during the relevant contest period you are (or you live with) or your immediate family member (parent, child, sibling and spouse of any of the foregoing) is an employee, representative, or agent of the Promoter or any of its affiliates, licensees or ORC International.
THE DRAWING
The prizes will be awarded to the first person whose entry is drawn and otherwise complies with the Contest Rules. If a selected entrant chooses not to accept the prize, the prize will be deemed to be forfeited and no other compensation will be substituted for the prize. You do not need to be present at the draw in order to win.
The winning entrants will be contacted by telephone or email and may be required to sign and return (within 14 days of receipt) a declaration and release. If the selected entrant does not comply with the Contest Rules or cannot be contacted within 14 days of the draw date, that entrant will be disqualified and an alternate entrant will be randomly selected from the eligible entries received.
The prize will be sent to the winner.

OTHER RULES
Entry into this contest constitutes an entrant's acceptance to these Contest Rules. All decisions of the Promoter will be final and binding on all entrants. This contest is subject to all applicable laws, these Contest Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes regarding the Contest.
The Promoter shall not bear any liability for (a) entries which are lost, stolen, illegible, incomplete (or otherwise improperly completed), delayed or destroyed (including, in the case of on-line entries, as a result of failure of the Website or technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet), (b) the loss, theft or misuse of the prize, or (c) any property damage or misfortune in any way attributable to this contest or the prize (including, in the case of on-line entries, damage to any telephone network or lines, on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software) or resulting from downloading any material from the Client Contest Website.
No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrant who qualifies to win the prize. By entering, the winners grant the Promoter the right to use the winner's name, address, comments and/or likeness, without further compensation, in any advertising or publicity. All entries become the property of the Promoter who assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the Website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or down loading any material in the promotion. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the entry form download portion of this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Promoter reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.
Entries obtained through fraudulent means or through an abuse of the Whitbread Guest Satisfaction Survey Contest or in any way tampered with, forged, mutilated, illegible, incomplete or mechanically reproduced may, at the sole discretion of the Promoter, be disqualified.
The Promoter reserves the right to add or delete participating locations at its discretion, and to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value, without notice. The Promoter may cancel, suspend or modify this contest for any reason including in the event of a virus, bug or any other cause of any nature beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter corrupts the security or proper administration of the contest.
The personal information (name, telephone number & email address) you are providing to enter this contest will be used only to administer this contest, and for no other reason. The responses to the survey questions that you provide will be used by the Promoter and ORC International in an aggregated manner only and will not be linked to your personal information. ORC International will only disclose the information pertaining to the contest to the Promoter and the Promoter will only use personal information for the purposes of contacting the contest winners.
The winner will be informed within 14 days of the draw date and must make themselves available for post event publicity, which may include photography. The winner's details will also be displayed on the brand website (e.g. Beefeater).

For the name of the winner for a specific monthly contest, send a self addressed envelope to WHITBREAD GUEST SATISFACTION SURVEY CONTEST c/o ORC International within thirty (30) days following the last day of the month of that contest. You must specify the applicable month for which you are requesting a winner's list. The winner list will be sent after the prize has been awarded.
